Clinical trials best practice guide 2024

In 2023, the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), Shelford Group Chief Executive and Medical Directors, and UKRD - R&D leaders in the NHS convened a working group to help achieve a common understanding of where the main challenges are, and how they can be addressed.

This collaborative working group has now developed and published this best practice guide, which identifies where reciprocal improvements can be made to help improve clinical trial set-up processes in the UK.
