ABPI science resources for schools gets Green Tick of approval

The ABPI interactive schools resources website has been awarded a Green Tick from the Association for Science Education – marking it out as a top source of teaching aids for students from age 5 to 16 and beyond.

We are delighted that our school’s website has achieved top marks and been awarded the coveted ASE Green Tick. Andrew Croydon, ABPI Director of Skills & Education Policy and Examinations

The Association for Science Education (ASE) is a membership body that supports young people in science by inspiring knowledgeable teachers and technicians in their science teaching and learning. Their Green Tick award provides educators with guidance on the suitability of a potential teaching resource and how the materials might support their teaching and learning.

The ABPI provides curriculum related resources linked to science topics covered in schools for use by teachers and their pupils on their dedicated Schools website. The ASE have evaluated the materials through their quality assurance process and granted their Green Tick award for the learning resources.

Andrew Croydon, ABPI Director of Skills & Education Policy and Examinations said:
“We are delighted that our school’s website has achieved top marks and been awarded the coveted ASE Green Tick. Most importantly, we hope the high-quality resources we provide for schools will continue to help teachers enthuse and inspire students to embrace STEM subjects and maybe even think about a future career in a research industry like ours.”

Rebecca Dixon-Watmough, Business Development Manager as The Association for Science Education said:
“ASE is always willing to work with partners to ensure educational materials are of the highest quality. It is always refreshing when organisations such as ABPI invest so much in resources for schools that are free and high quality.”

ABPI’s educational materials cover a wide range of topics from cell biology and biotechnology to antimicrobial resistance and genetic engineering, offering an interactive and accessible way to learn. Aimed at ages five years old and upwards, the resources are relevant to modern times and include explanations and applications of newer technologies within the biological sciences.

The Green Tick gives teachers, students, parents and guardians the reassurance that content from the ABPI Schools website is both high quality and matched to the required school curriculum.
