Marta McGrath

Marta McGrath is Patient Advocacy Manager for AstraZeneca UK.

She leads AstraZeneca UK’s work with patient groups and health charities across a range of long-term health conditions. Her role focuses on finding ways to meet patient needs through patient-centred solutions, developed in partnership with patient organisations to support shared goals. She also works to make sure the patient voice is heard across AstraZeneca, helping teams build the skills and processes needed for clear, confident, and compliant engagement, and to support better policy and access decisions.

Before joining patient advocacy, Marta worked in marketing, transforming care programmes, and medical communications. Her earlier roles focused on health education and disease awareness, helping to improve understanding of health conditions and support better engagement with patients and other stakeholders.
