In total, we have over 150 members: our Full Members represent many established research based pharmaceutical companies, our Research Affiliate Members are involved primarily in pharmaceutical research and development, whilst our General Affiliate members are organisations that work with the pharmaceutical industry in the UK.
We provide a wide range of services and support for our members. ABPI provides its members with a comprehensive monitoring package and regular updates including:
The ABPI organises a number of member only events during the year, which offer great networking opportunities with industry colleagues.
We also host two annual conferences: the ABPI Annual Conference and Dinner in April, and the Research & Development Conference in November.
Keep up to date with topical industry issues by attending our wide range of masterclasses.
We offer support to our full members through a range of senior level forums, including: CEO Forum, Smaller Companies’ Forum, Finance Directors’ Forum, and Corporate Affairs Network. These Forums give like-minded people the opportunity to engage in current industry issues and discuss similar challenges and issues they face.
The ABPI works across a broad range of policy areas from early research right through to the end of a lifecycle of a branded medicine.
We operate a wide range of working groups and standing expert networks to support our work and engage our members. Members have the opportunities to apply for membership of working groups and expert networks or can observe their activities subject to terms of reference of the group. As the ABPI represents member companies of all sizes, it is important to us that members have the flexibility to sign up to the key strategic areas that matter most to that individual company.
We offer three different types of membership: Full membership, Research Affiliate membership, and General Affiliate membership.
