ABPI response to clinical research vision

The government has published its vision for the future of clinical research, setting out how it intends to capitalise on the successes of the past year.

In response, Richard Torbett, Chief Executive of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry:

“We’ve seen the power of clinical research in bringing us the vaccines that are now edging us closer to the end of this pandemic.

“Today’s vision reflects the shared priorities we have for the future of clinical research. This welcome framework sets out how we can work together to get clinical research up and running again and build an even stronger research environment in the UK.
