Policy and Parliament

The ABPI represents its members in Westminster and Whitehall, and in the devolved administrations of Northern IrelandScotland and Wales.

Pricing Regulation

In the UK, companies set prices and their profits are regulated by the Government through the Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme (PPRS), jointly negotiated by the pharmaceutical industry and Government.

Collaboration and Partnership

Collaboration and Partnership

We work with the government, industry, medical charities and organisations and trade associations to support the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.

Education and Employment

We have an interactive Resources for Schools website, with curriculum linked science content for students, teachers and parents.

The ABPI supports the training of medical representatives through distance learning and offers exams for representatives that comply with the ABPI Code of Practice requirements. Information on the exam is provided on the ABPI Exams website.
