Diabetes UK campaigns on behalf of its members and all
people with diabetes, provides support and information on
all aspects of diabetes, and spends £5 million a year on
research projects. The charity has national offices in Wales,
Scotland and Northern Ireland and a network of local
offices throughout England.
The Diabetes UK Careline offers callers confidential
information on all aspects of diabetes from trained
counsellors. Diabetes UK also produces a wide range of
serial publications, booklets, leaflets, audio and video
cassettes providing the latest information on diabetes care,
treatments and research to its members.
