Eight companies are the latest to become one of the categories of membership, the Association of the British
Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) has announced.
ABPI Head of Membership Services, Jeremy Way said: “We would like to welcome such a professional and diverse
range of new members to the ABPI. The membership list has increased by 25 companies for 2007 which increases
the depth of expertise available to members.”
The latest new members are:
Full member
Siemens plc – the number one global supplier of diagnostics solutions – based in Camberley,
Surrey. Siemens Medical Solutions supplies high-technology imaging and diagnostics equipment, primarily
to healthcare providers but also the pharmaceutical industry and to clinical research organisations.
Research affiliate
Pharmacogenomic Innovative Solutions Ltd, (PGIX) of Maidenhead, Berkshire. The company specialises in
applying expertise in pharmacogenomics in drug development, both in partnership with small/medium
companies and by in-licensing compounds from discovery bioventures to develop in-house optimal
applications of pharmacogenomics.

Covington and Burling LLP of Strand, London WC2 provides legal services to regulated industries,
particularly the pharmaceutical sector.
