The ABPI Annual Dinner is the highlight of the year for the Industry. On 30 April I will hand over the chain of office
to Chris Brinsmead, Managing Director of AstraZeneca, and would like you to join me in welcoming the incoming President,
celebrate the successes of 2007 and prepare for the challenges that face us in 2008.
The evening will start at 7pm with a drinks reception and live music on the balcony to the Great Room. As in previous years,
we encourage you to invite guests to attend the event to share what will be an informative and enjoyable evening. We have
introduced an online booking system which will allow you to select your desired table(s) on a first come, first served basis,
so book early!
Following nominations from the Membership, I am pleased to announce that the ABPI has chosen to support World Vision UK at
this year's Annual Dinner. World Vision UK is a development and advocacy charity dedicated to helping children, families
and communities worldwide reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Full details will be
circulated with your tickets.
