    UCLPartners AHSN secondment opportunities

Three industry-funded secondments have become available in partnership with the University College London Partners (UCL Partners) Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) within London.

The first secondment is the Programme Manager, Industry & Innovation, within UCLPartners Integrated Cardiovascular Programme. This would be for two to three days per week for a 12-month period. The secondee would report to the Director of Strategic Development, with a link to the Director of Innovation and Implementation.

The second secondment, also in partnership with UCLPartners, is the new role of Head of Industry Partnerships for the AHSN. The secondee would lead the co-development of a three-year strategy for effective engagement between NHS, academia and industry across UCLPartners geography. The candidate would also build joint working and commercial capability across Programme Directors and Operational Directors, across AHSN programmes to ensure effective design and delivery of partnership projects, which include a wealth creation mindset.

The third secondment is in partnership with the Barts Health NHS Trust, working as a Local Clinical Research Network (LCRN) Industry Manager with responsibility for having an overview of the commercial research portfolio within the LCRN, through active engagement with NHS sites and other key stakeholders. They will ensure that required study activities are co-ordinated and performance managed effectively across sites within the LCRN. The candidate would be contracted to 37.5 hours per week, reporting to the LCRN Senior Manager.
