    Distribution of NHS medicines during Olympics: new communications pack published

The British Association of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (BAPW) has published a new pack that explains how the distribution of NHS medicines to hospitals and pharmacies is being managed during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

 

The BAPW's London 2012 Medicines Supply Chain Communications Pack is available to download here. 

A specialised distribution service to hospitals and pharmacies will be in operation, from this week, to minimise the impact of the Olympic Games on medicines distribution.

During the Olympic period the ABPI will be taking part in regular conference calls with the Department of Health and BAPW to ensure lines of communication are open regarding any issues that supply chain stakeholders may experience.
