ABPI Cymru Wales event - ‘Environmental Update’

ABPI Cymru Wales was established in 2003 in response to devolution and to reflect the expanding “clear red water” between health and economic policy in Wales and England. With the 2011 National Assembly for Wales elections behind us – and a new Welsh Government in situ - what does that mean for companies trying to engage with NHS Wales, especially those without long-standing relationships in the country?

We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Morgan – until 2011 the Conservative Assembly Member for Cardiff North – has agreed to brief us on where he sees the Assembly going in its fourth term. Alongside Jonathan, Mike Ponton, former Chief Executive of the NHS Confederation in Wales and currently Senior Fellow with the Welsh Institute of Health and Social Care at the University of Glamorgan will give his views on the NHS in Wales. The Briefing will conclude with Dr Richard Greville, Director of ABPI Cymru Wales providing an insight into what this could mean for industry – particularly those trying to establish relationships in Wales.

If you are beginning to explore Wales as a new market, have a new team in Wales or just want to update your knowledge on this distinct environment, this Briefing is for you.

This briefing is complimentary for ABPI members. For non-members we are levying a small charge of £100.00 +vat.
