The overarching aim of our work in this area is to catalyse a transformation in innovation within the UK-based life science arena, improving the productivity of the research and development process and reinforcing the UK’s global role and influence. The Innovation Board takes forward the Board of Management strategy for ABPI’s Innovation activities.
All the areas covered by the Medical and Innovation team are supported by Expert Networks made up of experts from our member companies. The Expert Networks are accountable to the Innovation Board to ensure their work remains consistent with the overall ABPI strategy for innovation.
Expert Networks
These Expert Networks lead on the ABPI’s research and development policy; including responses to consultations from the Government and other bodies. They share best practice and work on various initiatives which support and enhance the UK and European environment in order to promote and maintain investment in the UK development and manufacturing base.
