The Experimental Medicine Expert Network has published an article on First in Human (FIH) studies providing key points to consider in the placement, design and conduct of such studies. It supplements the ABPI Guidelines for Phase 1 Clinical Trials, a widely referenced document, with more detailed practical considerations.
