In the run-up to May’s election to the National Assembly for Wales, health and social care organisations from across Wales, including the ABPI, have come together to outline their key priorities in Wales.
Focussed on strategic deliverables and working through the Welsh NHS Confederation's 2016 Challenge Policy Forum to improve patient care, all political parties with candidates standing in the election have been challenged to sign-up to this call. Whilst providing a wider-vision for NHS Wales over the next five years, the priorities also include a commitment to the use of new technologies across NHS Wales, including medicines.
The ABPI fully supports the ethos of these ten actions, as a way to address the healthcare needs of the people of Wales to 2021.
