The ABPI has announced the appointment of Sam Ogden as Membership Engagement Account Director at the organisation with effect from 10 January 2011. Sam will be reporting to Alison Clough, ABPI Commercial Director.
Sam is currently Head of In Field Effectiveness at Roche where she has worked for the past ten years in a variety of senior sales, marketing and business unit head roles. Prior to joining Roche, Sam held commercial roles at AstraZeneca and SmithKline Beecham.
Alison Clough said: “We are delighted that Sam will be joining us. She brings a wide range of experience including primary and secondary care sales and marketing, market research and sales force effectiveness. Sam will ensure that we engage more proactively with all our members, in particular the small-mid size companies and will play a key role in ensuring their views and needs are fully represented in our campaigns.”
