The Centre for Medicines Research International (CMR International), an independent scientific unit, was established in 1981. It aims to be the centre of excellence for addressing strategic issues in the discovery, development, regulation and safe use of medicines for the benefit of society. The centre also aims to facilitate international knowledge exchange, contribute to increased productivity and efficiency, and to improve the global environment for R&D.
