Research Affiliate Membership overview

​Research affiliates are companies which carry out their business in the UK, and are engaged in the research in and/or development of medicines for human use, but which have no sales of such products in the UK.   • Opportunity to participate in the clinical research expert network and other working groups requiring research expertise (depending on the relevant group’s rules of membership)
  • Ability to contribute research expertise to projects and campaigns designed to improve the research environment in the UK

Subscription fees

Research affiliate member subscriptions are based on their company head count and reflect the number of employees working in the pharmaceutical sector. For enquiries please use the 'Get in touch' form on the right, using 'Membership' as the subject area.

Application process

All applications for membership of the ABPI are reviewed by the Board of Management. For more details on the process, please see below:
