SCOTTISH CANCER INDUSTRY GROUP (SCIG)

This group has worked with Cancer Research UK & the Cross Party Group on Cancer to ensure patients with cancer have access to the appropriate pharmaceutical care.

SCIG officers regularly attend the Cross Party Group on Cancer.

SCIG has recently provided a submission to the Scottish Parliament Petitions Committee Inquiry on the availability of Cancer Medicines in NHS Scotland and is currently drawing up a response to the consultation “Better Cancer Care” which will feed into the review of the current Cancer Plan for Scotland.
